So my 38mm Apple Watch came today. I also placed an order for the 42mm but thats still processing. My question is, would apple give me a hard time if I choose to return it two weeks later? I bought the stainless steel model so it is almost impossible to avoid little micro scratches. This isn't like a laptop where its aluminium and is resistant to scratch. Laptops can still look new after two weeks. I bought the stainless steel with sports band so Im sure oils are going to transfer onto the band during my two week trial. Just don't want to be stuck with the watch if I decide the 42 is for me.

Even if you're "stuck" with the WATCH, I can guarantee you that you will currently never sell it less than full retail value on eBay or CraigsList.

Considering they know they have inventory issues and know their mess up with allowing pre-orders before try-ons, I'd be hard-pressed to believe they won't accept a return past the 14-day mark. If you do it right at the table where they're demoing the WATCHes, I bet you you'll find a buyer at the table or within feet from the store.
