I could only get Reuters mobile news site to work via Safari in the first generation of iPod touch. I had to download the (free) Thomson Reuters News Pro app for my 2nd gen iPod touch. When I had tried to use the bookmark and Safari, the newer device kept truncating retrieved information, no matter if it was the site's home page, an article or list of articles in a category.
I'm posting this in case anyone else who was accessing Reuters mobile news on an older iPod touch via a Safari bookmark also ends up having a problem after moving up to the newer device. Ditch your bookmark and try the app instead. It worked for me. The app's preferences (accessible in the iPod touch Settings) include optimization for offline use if desired.
