rev B at the doorstep

    so i was quite surprised today to stumble upon the following pieces of evidence that ipod touch rev B is coming upon us:

    as it seems, the one thing that can be said about rev B is that the two flash memory configurations remain unchanged (if those SKU descriptions are to be believed).

    does anybody know anything more of rev B?

    ok, i think what the posters below suggest is quite reasonable: that 'rev B' above is most likely nothing more than the original ipod touch with the iphone software suit. thanks for the demystification, guys.

    Wouldn't this simply make sense if these are the iPod Touch with the added Apps?

    I think I am going to have to agree.
    A very interesting fact is that all the price changes are by 20 dollars, the same price as the new apps.


    And also, why would Apple release a new Touch so soon after MacWorld.

    I just got a touch in from apple with the upgraded apps, and its Part # is PA627LL/B

    See the resemblance ?

    Just an updated part# for the newer version...
