iPod touch Reverb during audio podcast playback.

My Itouch has a distinctive reverb effect on audio podcasts only.

It is not doing it on any other feature. When I play podcasts with video, there is no reverb. It is on all audio podcasts.

When I play the podcast on my PC, there is no reverb.

I can download the same podcasts from Itunes to my shuffle and there is no reverb.

I even tried different earpods.

What am I missing?

I also reset the Itouch to original settings without result.

You probably have it set to half speed.

Thanks for the question and the answer. My wife's iPod Touch had the same issue and now she is very relieved that the problem is resolved. Apparently it is not difficult to accidentally bump it into that setting.
