Hey party people I have a question/doubt on the whole iOS revert process. Does it work? I have two devices that I can try it on. (iPhone 4s and iPhone 6 cloud locked) I doubt it will work on the 6 cause of the activation lock. But I would like to try it on the 4s for sure. What do you guys think. I'm open to suggestions. Thank you all and enjoy your weekend.

I've heard there are rumors for downgrades but didn't see anything concrete. Hence I bit the bullet and went ahead and purchased a brand new iPhoen 6s 64 GB with the hope to get 9.3.5 or lower and behold got 10.0.2. I purchased another one and finally got 9.3.2 and have disabled updates and am a happy camper.

My need was the PPTP protocol for vpn. I don't understand the android architecture and prefer to stay with an iPhone but with the lack of PPTP I may have to jump ship which may be around the Samsung S8. Lets see how it plays out.

PPTP is important as VOIP works only on that protocol. There are other vpn's that connect but no sound goes through. just fyi.

I really hope they come out with a jailbreak that can re-enable pptp.

It's impossible to revert back to any iOS apart from iOS 10.2.

No, It's not impossible at all

It depends on a number of factors, including which device you have and which firmware it's on.

@OP unfortunately for now you as far as I know you can't downgrade your 4s from 9.3.5 to anything lower but it might be possible to downgrade 9.3.4 to iOS 6 if you have windows.

Check it out on the Reddit jailbreak scene (google it) apparently it's only for 4s 9.3.3 and under but people have managed to get it working on 9.3.4 as well. They have tutorials and direct you to links. Give it a shot.

If it's 9.3.5 though unfortunately for the time being you are out of luck.
