That’s good to know, but as an Apple user I don’t want to invest into quick charge. I’ve converted to USB C PD.

Right... but the charger spec that these Anker pads seems to want is QC3.0. Any charger that I plug a lightning cable into is either Apple or Anker for USB-PD.

I have the Spigen F303W and it has no fan. Why does this one need a noisy fan?

I have a F303W. Max 5w on iPhone X
And the fan is not noisy

[doublepost=1521334778][/doublepost]Got 2 of these yesterday.
Yes can hear the fan in a silent room.
One bedside and not disturbing just white noise.
I prefer the angle over the Spigen F303W I have.
And the Spigen only 5W on iPhone - regardless of iOS version or power supply - confirmed to me by Spigen.
Only issue with this and the Spigen (and I guess most stands) is hard to swipe up to open. IMG_0171.JPG IMG_0170.JPG
Fixed that by adding a little pad

The Ravpower one also has no fan though?

I ordered both chargers.

The pad works fine. The fan is barely audible on my nightstand in my bedroom.

The stand however, if I set my phone on it vertically, like how you're supposed to? It initially connects and then stops charging. The blue light is blinking.

If I lay my phone on it's side, it works fine.

Edit: Specifically, it's my Evutec case. !#@$&#@^!!! It's certainly not the thickness (or lack thereof) of the case, since LxHunter has his working with a little booster seat for his phone. Meaning that it's the metal in the case for their magnetic mount. I popped mine on top of a little keychain I had lying around (think the thickness of a flash drive) and now it's charging fine while in portrait.

I'll re-test tomorrow when I put my Pitaka back on.

Edit 2: And now the stand is working with the Evutec in portrait. I guess alignment has to be absolutely perfect with this particular case. /throws hands in the air

Edit 3: The Anker Powerwave Stand does not work with either the Evutec or the Pitaka cases unless you get the alignment absolutely perfect in portrait orientation. This is likely due to the metal embedded in the cases for magnetic mounting.

To me is a design flaw and a deal breaker, as the Pad version works fine with either case.
