How is it marketed at people who like aesthetics? It looks like something that is sold by a dozen other sellers with names like ETEKMAX. It's asymmetric, doesn't fit 2 of the 3 apple products it charges, and fails to hide the cable that clean desks are looking for.

It seems clearly marketed at anyone who wants something new even if it's less attractive and functional than what they already have.
I might be wrong, but I believe Belkin's product is the first to feature full-speed 15W charging?

I'm not a big Belkin fan and dislike that ugly word being slapped over the front of their products.

Likely pulling the trigger on this one as soon as it's released. Have been waiting for a while and this seems to be the only good option in the market as of now. It also looks good, IMO

May you please share a photo of the included power adapter? I don’t have much space and I want to see if it will fit on my power bar. Alternatively, can you detach the 1.5m cord from the 40W power adapter?

Thank you!
You can see it here
Would really like to know how it works with non-magsafe cases?
Belkin has been a bit confusing on this. They first said it should work with any cases up to X mm's (I do not recall exactly how much), but now they only state it works with MagSafe cases.
WatchOS 4.3 added support for vertical-orientation nightstand mode ... unless you're talking about something different?
I'm not sure what the concern here is either. I assume the doubt is if the angle at which the charger is at is enough to trigger the mode (?)
If you’re complaining about the price, Belkin obviously didn’t make this for you... there’s far cheaper alternatives.
I've not found an alternative yet, so please do share

Meanwhile, my MagSafe Duo is great.
I charge my AirPods on it when I’m not using them, every couple days.
I use the regular 20 W brick, and one day my phone was at 24%, I dropped it on there, jumped in the shower for 20 minutes, got dressed, and picked my phone up at 60%.
If I want to use my phone while charging, I just fold the Apple Watch portion backwards, and I can hold my phone any which way I ever wanted to. And I don’t have to worry about if the charger will fit in my bag, because this one fits in my pocket.
Plus, it’s $20 cheaper than this bulky abomination that takes up way more space.
only complaint that I do have is that I do think that it should’ve came with a brick, but I already had one so that’s not really a problem. Even the 18 W brick still charges your phone at 10.7 W, which is not much less than 11 W.
And I’m not the biggest fan of the white material, because it gets dusty pretty easily. But that’s it, everything else is perfect
You’re trying WAY too hard to convince yourself lol

$150 is ridiculous!

I bought these two for my wife and I a couple weeks back. Work fine for us so far with our iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watches. Only about $30 each.

Not MagSafe right? If it is not, not even relevant. I am only interested in anything MagSafe now.

No, they are not MagSafe. But who cares? MagSafe charging pucks need 2 hands to separate the phone vs just laying it on a charge stand or base and easily removing.

Great job! I really liked it as they have made a design that Apple should have done, but they even did the price like Apple does... I don't buy it anyway.

I’d be a bit concerned the phone gets knocked and falls off ... not so sure on this at least for a bedside charging stand; maybe more at a desk where I’d want to use it while in the stand - kinda curious of a stand only for iPhone without the Apple Watch for this usage

This is definitely one of those items that will appeal to people who want a clean desk or bedside table for charging their iPhone 12, Watch and AirPods. My wife HATES having two sets of cords on her bedside table for iPhone and Watch (she keeps her AirPods in her office), so she’s going to get one (that I’ll buy her as a surprise). I’m the same way - it’s ridiculous to have to have multiple cords and plugs cluttering the table just to charge our devices. I’m surprised that Apple didn’t design something like this vs their weird folding duo charger. The stand style charger allows your iPhone and Watch to glanceable much easier, compared to flat / puck chargers.

This is one of the thing which bothers for quite a handful of people. I could not wait to remove all the dangling cables on bedside table.

One stand to rule them all

I am not worried too much about knocking it off easily.
Currently, I am using vent mount pro with Peel case on phone. Case is non-MagSafe.

It stays pretty well through bumpy rides although it is not as strong as with MagSafe case.

Let’s see if their Magnetic strength quality stands still with this Charger pro.

But for those that don’t mind paying a premium for this luxury, this is great news and glad to finally see a release date. I’m looking forward to buying this when it comes out in a couple days!

The Belkin "Valet" series of Apple Store exclusives have never been cheap, and are not aimed at the segment of buyers who look for Aliexpress/Amazon levels of pricing (and quality), quickly knocked out by some Chinese ODM.

This model is just the latest entry in that lineup, now carrying the current "Boost Charge" branding.

There is obviously enough of a market for those seeking a stylish, complete solution (not BYO) with full MFi and safety certifications (which also come at a cost) for them to continue offering such products, even though many are satisfied with less-expensive options.

I got the white Scosche BaseLynx from Apple at the holidays for the family which allows an Apple Watch and any iPhone 8 or newer to charge as well as it has 2 USB and 1 USB C power ports and a small stand with 3 slots for iPads, etc. It was $149 and in white and grey looks good in the kitchen.

I also got for Christmas an Amazon Senio or something charger for watch and phone for the nightstand. Works great. Everything is charged in the morning. I bought an Anker 30W charger for it and my phone doesn’t stick when I try to pick it up. It was $22.

I've got Belkin's two in one charging a couple of years ago, and I was interested when this was first shown in the press release. I spent a couple of months annoyed waiting for this to come out, and now that I am so happy with the 20w charging from the cable, I won't be going back to magnetic. The time save is worth far more than the couple of seconds of hands free. I also tried traveling with my Belkin two in one, and I spent the entire trip worrying it'd break the stem. Glad this option is out there for folks, but having owned a similar one that I paid a similar price a few years ago, tough pill to swallow again.

I had one of these. As with most Qi based chargers it seems great, then the sweet spot for charging starts playing up and then it craps out completely after a few months.
It’s this reason why I want to stick with MagSafe and why annoyingly my only options seem to be the belkin 3 in one or the MagSafe duo

no they really don't take two hands at all and this one certainly won't it will just come off very easily due to not being flat and loose like the duo and current magsafe option.

I don't know why anyone's comparing this to the Magsafe Duo.
  • Belkin looks stylish on your desk and is utterly useless for travel.
  • Magsafe Duo is practical for travel and looks like total crap.
Totally different use cases.

Buy the Belkin for your desk and sling the Magsafe Duo in your travel bag.

Or - if you don't want to spend $300+ on chargers - decide which is more important.

For me the Magsafe Duo looks better, because people will barely notice it, because of it's low profile.

The Belkin one just screams "heyy, please look at me!!!" and i would not want it on my nightstand.

I was a bit sceptical of the MagSafe Duo, especially because of the high price.
But it does exactly what it needs to do and does it very well. Both the Watch and iPhone are now completely hassle-free to charge. The Watch, because it is easier to remove and the Phone because i don't have to Plug it in and out with both Hands. (Or compared to non-Magsafe wireless chargers: it just goes to the correct position automatically)
I can just put them down and pick them up with one hand.

And i don't have to lose that convencience, no matter where i go. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I bought Belkin's 2-in-1 charger in March for $140. It was an Apple exclusive. It doesn't charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max. (But my Mophie chargers work just fine). No more Belkin for me.

I replaced the Belkin with the MagSafe Duo. A more practical solution for me.

Same issue - annoying - but turn the phone upside down and it works (must be the position of the magnets)

I'd be quite happy with a Magsafe Duo on my bedside table when travelling.

But it doesn't look great on a desk IMO.
