Bought one for my wife on Christmas, she absolutely loves it. I’d get one for myself, but waiting for more competition to drive prices down.

I got this for Christmas too and despite everyone saying it’s bulky and ugly, I think it looks quite nice on my nightstand. People are also saying why not buy an integrated one where you drop your OM Apple Watch charger in it, or just two separate ones. Well I think if this is something you want, that’s probably not the point. I prefer not to have a bunch of cables everywhere on my nightstand, and since this one routes through the base it can be completely hidden. Anyways I like it even though other people don’t so if this is something you’re considering, I can say that I like mine and would buy it again.

Belkin marketing team - We can't justify that price point, we aren't Apple, we don't get the Apple tax!
Belkin marketing head - Just watch me!

I sure hope at that price all cables are provided. Don't tell me I have bring my own cables?

Interesting, I don’t understand the flat position at all. Upright saves space and makes it visible. Flat offers no advantage that I can see.

I agree, the upright position is easier for a nighstand- the samsung QI chargers have adjustable angles and I am a fan.

I ordered this last week and it came today. I got the white one and it works very well. I'll provide a more comprehensive review later this week.

Got a black one from Amazon for $124. While still pricey, I'm happy with it. I don't feel the quality was there for cheaper similar devices.

I've had it a couple of weeks now and it's working as expected. No complaints.

I paid $134 for the white. Why is Apple charging more for this?

There are two different Boost Up combo stands.

The referenced in this story, the F8J234, has a rectangular metal base, with a round phone charging disc suspended by a metal rod. It's only sold at Apple stores and from Belkin for $160.

The cheaper one on Amazon that you bought is the F8J235, which has a rounded oblong base and an oblong phone charging pad mounted directly to the base.

While they're functionally identical, if you compare the two, the latter may have more plastic in its construction and less metal.

I think the cheaper one is just fine. I hardly think an extra $30 warrants such a minimal design aesthetic.

Anyone have an issue where the charger stops charging? I have a commuter Otterbox case for my XS Max and a few times over the last week I'll take up with a 20% charge.

Is this defective?

I've had mine stop charging if I didn't get the iRing on the slide case down far enough out of the way...causing the distance from the charger to the iPhone to be a bit too far. It appears to start charging, but eventually stops.

I'm guessing your Otterbox Commuter is just thick enough to cause the issue.

I saw some great selection of wireless chargers on facebook. The website was handytoolfactory.com

I bought this 3-in-1 charger and got a discount!

Just circling back on this -- I have the F8J234 (more expensive Chrome one) and it's been working fine for several months. Now I just realized for the past few days, the Apple Watch stops charging after a minute. I think the magnet isn't strong enough and slides off the charger.

I was going to maybe upgrade to the 3 in 1 (WIZ009ttWH) but maybe i'll hold off.
