I have a Belkin. They delivered on release day, the same day as my air tag instead of having to wait.

Is it overpriced, yeah, but it's $13.

This. I don’t see a use case for putting one outside of my backpack, my carry on and definitely not my checkin luggage. Those AirTags are not coming back, not because they would be stolen but because they will break and fall off. I am not sure there will be class action suit for AirTags falling off bags /s
I put a few of my AirTags in a ziplock bag, and then placed each one inside the item. Works well and saved some money.

I have two Belkin key rings and one strap. The Strap version I put on my son's bag and on him when we are out of the house. All three are great and affordable. I would love it if they made one for my AirPod Pros. I swear I put those thing down and can never find them.

I've had my two Belkin holders since their release. Excellent (and clever) design and robust build. No worries at all about them not lasting.

They're an excellent value. Will be picking up two more

Total Rip Off.

$3 item and you get to throw away another $10 for fun :(.
Plus you get to wait a few weeks for it.....

I would not recommend using the Belkin secure holder with strap on the outside of your backpack. I have on mine and the case opened losing the AirTag. Noticed this morning that is was missing and the Belkin separated into 2 pieces. Luckily, I found the AirTag in the Office parking lot. Must have fallen out on the way to the car. FYI my Tile on is still attached after 2 years. Helps that it has it's own builtin loop/notch hole.

If you can't find the airtags once they have fallen off, then the airtags are not working as intended...

I have one of these, arrived release day along the 4-pack.

It's done its job so far, I went with it over the Apple one for two reasons: cost and use case. A case costing more than the device it holds is bonkers(the Hermes even more so), but I suppose if I had car keys, it would be nice. However, in my use case, leather is not a great option as the keys come on runs with me and the leather loop was seemed impractical for hip pocket on shorts.

This is a windfall for accessory makers.

Spoke to a couple manufacturers in China and these cost less than $0.10 to manufacture.
Once got the design, and small batch test run, if ok, the supplier in China can churn out a bulk run of say 20000 of each colour. Belkin will recoup the development cost in very short time.

I'm most interested in accessory0 choices where the Tag can be covered and really securely attached to something, like the underside of my bike seat, or my EDC notebook.

Never said I couldn’t find the airbag. When I saw it missing, I checked right away where it was. It showed that it was a work. When I got to work and to my office, I check for it again. It couldn’t locate it and told me to walk around. I walked to the parking lot and was able to get the arrow location to come on. I then found it.

It not working as intended it it not staying in the case designed for it. I’m not buying the AirTag to find an AirTag. I’m buying an AirTag to find what it is attached to. I’m just warning people that the Belkin case can come apart and drop the AirTag

I bought one of the key rings, and yeah, it's not going to come apart - it's a major pain to get it apart, thanks to the little bump on one half, that snaps in a recess in the other half, at the top of the key ring loop.
