I don’t understand why you would buy the Apple MagSafe charger if you don’t intend to use it while holding your phone? It fees flawed anyway since the cable is way too short.
If your plan it to simply use it as a desktop charger only (which this product would imply), just buy a much cheaper standard pad.
All this talk of effective pads. The idea is that MagSafe charges faster than a standard pad, and with less wasted power. It also avoids the situation in which the phone is on the pad but not quite properly positioned over the charging coil.
Considering “style” is subjective it does have a style, you just don’t like it.
No they're not.the bright colors are more attractive than the standard white MagSafe color
I actually thought that sounded like a flaw - the phone sliding around on top of the charger allows it to easily snap into the correct place (I assume that's why they picked a slippery material). I'm concerned it will be harder to line it up with this material. The Price is right, looks like a solid, simplistic product. The one thing I really like, it has a ‘silicon texture’, which will give it a little bit more grip staying in place. The wireless charger that I have in my bedroom, the phone tends to slide around on with smooth surface.
I used to have a rectangular charger the size and shape of my 11 Pro. Before MagSafe it was my favourite charger - it was easy to line the phone up with it (no more waking up to find my phone hadn't been charging all night). Of course it lost this advantage a bit when I got my 12 Mini, but MagSafe has solved that problem anyway. I'd still prefer the charge to match the phone size, as it kinda bugs me seeing the phone hovering, so to speak - it looks messy and wobble-able.I don’t know why these things always have to be round. Can’t they make one that matches the size and shape of the iPhone.
You can put round magnets in a phone-shaped device. An example of this would be.... the phone.mmmm the magnet is round, not the entire phone
You’ve clearly not had experience with other wireless chargers.I was given a MagSafe cable and not that I’m ungrateful but I really hate it.
I solved my main frustration by putting double sided sticky tape on the back of the puck so the damn thing doesn’t move around and snap against the back glass every time.
Also the cable length on this is ridiculous. It’s an exorbitant price for a magnetic cable that should have been 2m long.
rant over![]()
Multiple times a day, I reach to put my drink on the flat, round Qi charger on my desk before I reconsider. At this point I can't seem to erase the muscle memory. It literally looks like something you would place your cup on.

Did you notice that the iPhone isn’t charging at all in the product pictures?

I'm glad that's not just me!Multiple times a day, I reach to put my drink on the flat, round Qi charger on my desk before I reconsider. At this point I can't seem to erase the muscle memory.![]()
Well, not to beat a dead horse - but for future reference, it probably does matter.Yes, I'm not sure it matters? I took those photos in better lighting to show off the design and what it looks like. It looks the same when charging, and I did test the charging extensively on my desk where the lighting is less ideal.
Ben here, designer and founder @ Cozy. Interesting idea, but that would increase the price substantially as there would have to be 3 different mould sizes. Also with cases fit could be a potential issue. This design uses a modular approach for the top.I don’t know why these things always have to be round. Can’t they make one that matches the size and shape of the iPhone.
yeah, the kind with the built-in heater.Looks like a coaster.
