First company to get it right for the 6 and 6 Plus at a reasonable cost!
Let me start off by saying I am a HUGE fan of wallet phone cases. Not the full blown wallet cases but ultra thin, only hold 2-3 cards type cases.
Surprisingly no case maker came to the market with a good offering right off the bat, it took a few months but Case Art was able to achieve what I feel is the best wallet case there is at a cheaper price then the competitor Ozaki.
Ozaki released this case first last year for the iPhone 5/5S and continued on with a iPhone 6 release but no 6 Plus. I actually own the Ozaki version of this case so I am happy to be able to compare them because there is a $10+ price difference.
Both companies seem to be going based off the same exact design, both are using PU leather for the pocket with a soft lining for the pocket. Both companies have the same exact cutouts and ultra thin 0.3mm profile (I think its actually 0.45mm but thats just me). So far so good right?
Heres where it starts to change.
Ozaki seems to be using a slightly thicker plastic, the reason I say this is when you hold Case Art's up to the light you can partially see through the side frame and the frame feels a little thinner, but the entire case also feels lighter. This is not such a big deal because the phone color does not overpower and show through the case so you are still getting the color you are paying for.
Ozaki's packaging is much better looking, basically for a retail hang on a display rack type settings. Where as Case Art plus comes in a packaging that is designed to look like what the OEM Apple leather/silicone case comes in. Basically minimal and no thrills.
Osaka includes a screen protector in theirs, Case Art does not. But you can buy a 3pk of films for as low as $3.99 here on Amazon so thats not a negative in my book.
In the end both cases fit very snug on the phone and there is no give what so ever and even when placing 2 credit cards in the slot it does not come off the case. I would not try to put more then 2 or you risk stretching the PU leather out. I would have to tip the winning hat to Case Art. Even with the little differences that include the thinner plastic, the packaging and the lack of included screen protector you are saving over $10. No one keeps the packaging the case comes in, the thinness does not affect the quality or usability of the case and as I pointed out you could easily buy a 3pk for $3.99 which even after factoring in you are still saving money.
Not to meniton that Ozaki does not make their version of this case for the 6 Plus, only Case Art does!
