Summary - high quality, extremely stylish and functional case at an amazing price point.

I'll be honest, I had low expectations for this case despite several high quality products that I've bought from Anker in the past. My expectations for a case under $10 have been drastically exceeded. Let's run through some justification for my statement...

1. Exterior - Effectively you are getting two cases in one unit - the first is a high density, durable, metal framed case. The back has a very sleek, black crosshatch design. Reminds me of carbon fiber look but all black. It has a durable, synthetic material that is trimmed in a gun metal gray finish border. See pics.

2. Usability - it was a breeze to install as it form fits to the beveled edge of the iPhone 5\S. One you snap the first case on you can slide it in and out of the secondary case, which is a thin magnetic wrapper shell for the case. This is where I was anticipating disappointment, but to my surprise this is my favorite dynamic. First of all the phone sits perfectly in the wrapper and it has a strong sense of sophistication and style to it. The phone can be easily slid out of the wrapper for any purpose AND is fully functional with the wrapper on. The wrapper folds and doubles as a stand for horizontal viewing. It's already started to loosen up to accept the bend required for the stand to be flawless as the first few attempts took some maneuvering.

3. Audience - so this is where it gets really interesting. I received 4 compliments on this case in two days from opposite end of the spectrum - my client, a C level executive at an oil and gas company was the first - he wanted to order on the spot. The second was a colleague, but a very young one, in his late twenties, a guy that I wouldn't expect a compliment from if you know what I mean. The third was a waiter at a trendy restaurant I went to this afternoon and the fourth was my wife - who is a bit of a fashionista and I hold her opinion in high regard. All were unsolicited and in the day and agree of a million options for cases this thing stand out.

4. Comparison: some other Anker products have similar quality and style but this takes it to the next level with the sophistication and functionality that just works and protects your phone as a byproduct - exactly how it should be.

Last impression is that if you are looking to make an impression that this is the case for you - it is appropriate for a black tie dinner, a day at the race track, the corporate scene or happy hour/casual settings. Highly versatile and functional - money well spent!!!

Questions about the case, just holler.

do the magnets in this case affect motherboard/screen of the iPhone ?

because i owned a samsung phone before and i am still remembering that samsung warned the users not to use cases with magnets because it will damage the phone screen!

any specialist can respond to my question.

I leave the scientific explanation to those more knowledgeable than myself, but my empirical experience - i.e. the case on my phone for the last several months has shown ZERO impact to the screen.
