Well, given AirPower is dead, AFAICT these are the best of the other options available. I just ordered the non-watch version, as it has better extra ports included.
As a non-watch user, but a wireless AirPods user, this will hopefully work for a communal area in my home.
It can do simultaneously:
- 2 devices wirelessly (maybe even 3; unlikely, but will have to see).
- 1 USB-A device.
- 1 USB-C device (even a MBP; at somewhat super-slow charging, as not really designed for these ;-).
A bit difficult to find without being hit with import charges, though. Why oh why, do so many otherwise great US companies fail to find decent European distribution. Just sell it on local Amazon's, like the decent companies manage to do – presumably they don't like Amazon's decent returns policy T&C's or something?
Found it in stock in the Netherlands (thank you my Dutch friends!) for £100 delivered. Bit pricey, but what isn't these days, lol.
