The SwitchEasy AirMask is marketed as not yet a case, but more than a skin. It's a front and back cover made from a plastic that provides 360 degrees of scratch protection. It includes full coverage on the screen, but leaves access to all the essential ports and buttons.

I didn't really find anything wrong with it, other than the installation of it, which is meant to be super easy, but that's only if you read the instructions where it tells you to put the back on first.

I tried it with the front on first and came across alignment issues. The colours are also subjective to whether you like metallic finishes.

All-in-all, a very minimalistic way of keeping your iPhone from being scratched while staying superbly slim.

I received a batch of AirMasks for review. While they look nice, I've found that the sides can lift up a bit, depending on how you hold your iPhone. Fortunately, it's thin enough to fit inside of many cases just fine (such as the SwitchEasy Numbers and Speck CandyShell Grip).

Yeah my edges lift a bit as well, as you can see in the photos.

I'm surprised to hear it can fit into something like the CandyShell as it's known to be quite a tight fit.

I did have one. Pretty good to keep the phone slim but have very good scratch protection.

However, it won't protect the iphone from drop (or bend), and it won't last long. My airmask only last for about 4-5 months. Then the edge just separated from the phone by few mm, which makes the airmask quite meaningless.

In general, I am happy with it's protection. Since it increase the grab quite a lot, that means the chance to accidently drop the phone because of it's slippy surface is greatly reduced. But I really don't like it's screen protector. It's not the glass like protector, which makes the screen looks grey (the contrast reduced by a lot). Also, the alignment is not that perfect. The very last few pixel at the edges may be covered by the airmask, that may makes some operation (e.g. moving icon to another page / bring up the control centre) harder than normal.
