Well I see they are on sale now so I am tempted. I’m wondering if they are about read to integrate a touchpad into their next generation keyboard?

Yes, it seems they are. "Q1 2020" is the last thing I read. Probably will help for them to clear inventory of their old model, as who will want one of those when there is one with a trackpad (even if it's of limited use).

Good reminder about the a limited use of a trackpad/mouse. I have a Logitech Mouse waiting for me under the the X-Mas tree. So I’m going to have to wait to see if it is worth the effort to use a mouse or for that matter a track pad under iOS’s reported onerous implementations of support for a mouse.

I do love my iPad, so if the mouse thing works, then great. If not, I won’t be to disappointed and will gift the mouse to my friend who has a MacBook.

Back on topic. Is anyone happy with the Brydge after long term use?

The right-hand hinge as gone very tight, to the point I think it might break my iPad if I use it.
Quite disappointing as it has seen little use and is in good as new condition apart from the seizing hinge.

Bought this thing and tested it, it's not really worth the money. The rubber part is EXTREMELY cheap and poor quality. It's just glued to the plastic part and almost fell off when I removed my iPad. The keyboard itself is okay.

I’m glad I went with the MK trackpad folio. Of course the MK is incredibly pricey.

Trackpad navigation in the Brydge, was it any good? I thought I read it didn’t completely work with iOS compared to the MK or Apple stand alone trackpad.
