1. Design Language
This stand imported from China did not understand the design language of Apple.
Therefore it is completely unacceptable for me as an aesthete. Unfortunately, many graphic designers and artists work with Apple too, all of them will also dismiss this break in design. More 'relaxed' spirits might have more fun with it...
And even if the dimensions are correct the black color makes them shrink, so that the stand does not really look like part of one ensemble.
2. Ergonomics
Apple had made and implemented these thoughts about ergonomics:
Were they wrong?
3. Accident Prevention
One short note about the advertising photo. It is always dangerous to block a glass door with a table. Also the plant on the table feels uncomfortable.
4. Competition
Competitors also find it difficult to gain a foothold in this market. There are certainly variants, but the following applies to all of them: Do you have to buy completely wrongly dimensioned furniture to need something like this?
5. Table protection
Is your stand equipped with rubber pads or does it scratch the table surface?
6. Heat damage
The Mac Mini can get hot under extreme load (for example 4K video rendering) in the heat of summer. Then the fan runs and the case convectively dissipates heat to the environment. Does your stand cause a problematic heat accumulation under such conditions?
