Yes you’re correct. But if I was going to spend the money on the 13 inch and keyboard I would rather upgrade my MacBook Pro. Do you use it without a keyboard?

Totally agree. Idk who the iPad/keyboard combo is intended for other than maybe students and professional writers and for the price you're at by that point, even for the Airs, you're now close to or have surpassed entry-level MacBook pricing.

So I got the keyboard with my 12.9" M1 thinking it only made sense to complete the whole package. I had never gotten an iPad that large before and I guess it just felt like the right move at the time but it has literally collected dust since then because anytime I need to type that much I'll use my MacBook Pro. The extra bulk and weight simply isn't worth it imo. Plus the onscreen keyboard is plenty decent when I need to type something up in a pinch that isn't any longer than a paragraph or two.
I ended up going with the new 11" M4 Pro this past weekend and I'm loving it so far. This feels like what an iPad should be. Best part of all is that my old M1 12.9" took well over $500 off my new one which was great. And I elected not to waste money on the keyboard this time 🙂

I was mulling a budget-constrained choice: upgrade my gen3 12.9 iPad Pro to this, or my 3 year old LG 65” OLED TV to a 77” G2. The TV is £300 cheaper currently

Went to an Apple Store to take a look at the OLED screen which made it a no-brainer: the screen simply is not £1300 better than what I have now. TV ordered from the trusty 12.9 and being delivered today

See, you didn't account for the trade-in / aftermarket value of your current iPad to apply to the purchase price! /s

In all seriousness, hope the TV works out for you! I do not trust delivery people with goods that expensive, I'm just paranoid.
