Hey whats up guys

So, I've had my original powerbook G4 sitting on the shelf in a basically"dead" state for over 5 or more year now. Don't recall what exactly the issue is with it, but just does not turn on and vaguely remember when I got it checked back then the store claimed it to be logic board related. May or may not be true, it's been a long time. Anyhow, for kicks I actually really want to get this thing booted up, or at least grab the hard-drive off it. What would be the best and also most cost effective way of going about this. Don't care about the machine - just old stuff thats on it IE: Pictures, music, etc!

Thanks in advance guys!

Try removing the battery, holding the power button for 30 seconds, plugging in the adapter and trying to boot it straight off the adapter.
