Hi all.

Very odd situation here.

I bought a used stainless steel series 4 apple watch on eBay a few days ago. It works fine, and is unlocked from find my iPhone.

However today after updating I noted the ECG function didn't work despite being in the UK, resetting the watch and having the latest software.

So, I checked support coverage. Interestingly, it states I do not have warranty. How can this be so, if the device is by default less than a year old?

Even more peculiar is the model number of the watch which does not exist. It is: 3E363Z/A

What is going on?! Help please!
NB watch works perfectly except for the ECG function.

HA! Phoned apple. It’s a demo unit. Probably stolen.

There is no ‘probably’, it is in fact stolen. Demo models don’t function the exact same as a normal Apple Watch, they just fully resemble an Apple Watch. They run on a ‘demo loop’ and they actually can’t be activated with a phone.
