Now, I'm trying to solve the riddle here: http://www.oneriddle.com/ It's written by a fiddle player, which could potentially make a difference, but I can't figure out where the riddle is, much less what it is. Anyone good at these sorts of things?

I don't know much about written music but don't the letters a through to g signify notes and couldn't these same letters in that paragraph actually represent a tune? Just a thought. That might be too obvious. :eek:
 
I thought about that, mad jew, and it yields this:

Unfortunately, that doesn't make much sense to me. It doesn't sound like any song I know when I play it either.

Perhaps the lengths of the words in the last sentence (While=5 it=2 appears=7) represent notes on the major C scale, i.e.,
1=C, 2=D, 3=E, 4=F, 5=G, 6=A, 7=B, 8=C2 (one octave up)​

Again, I don't recognize a tune there. If it's a tune, it's one I'm not familiar with, and I'm not sure how I'd find out.

& am close friends w/ many of them...
i've passed the riddle along to some

Curse you Skywalker!!! :mad: Now I'm hooked and stuck on the third one. I just know it is something stupid too.

I, too, am hooked, but it's the second one I'm stuck on. Would you mind giving me a small hind as to how to get to the next stage?

I can't think of a good way to give you a hint without giving it away...Check the forums on that site (the answer to each riddle is the password to that riddles forum). If you are still not able to get it PM me and I'll try to give you another hint.
 
I'm on the fifth question now... The third one was a bit stupid. Make sure to check the Discuss link on the site. There are some hints there.

Edit: Oh, yeah, paleck already mentioned the hints.

I checked the discuss link on the third one, but it didn't help me. Like I said I am sure it is just something stupid. I am leaving it alone and will try again tomorrow.
 
Hmm...interesting.

"I meant the first riddle to be easy."

First riddle is......totally obscure.

Second riddle....."plays off relpats second page". Well that's great, since relpats is still up. :rolleyes:
 
There are inconsistensies in the code on page 3... what is inconsistent?

I'm now on the same page as the original poster, at the fiddle riddle...
 
I'm now on page 5 and stuck again. It's just such an meaningless and obscure sequence of letters and punctuation that I have no idea where to even begin in solving it. :(

I only saw one, but i couldn't get it to work as the answer.
 
paleck: You probably tried the "other" one. I think I tried the same as you just did, but that wasn't the answer, it was the other illogical one.
 
I did what I thought should be done first as far as translation:

SPOILER! Highlight white text to read. That means you, gekko513. :)

I looked up a dvorak keyboard on google and I transferred the letters to what they would be if that sequence had been typed on a dvorak keyboard. I got hpmvxsal.

Is this completely wrong, or am I on the right track here?
