For some reason, the sim card tray would not be 100% flush with the body. It was raised very slightly. Hard to notice but can definitely feel the height difference. Apple store replaced the phone.

Ah ok. My last phone was similar. So I opened the sim card to put my old ATT inside. And it never closed. Apple store guy was lost as why it wouldn't close. So got it swapped
