I've had my AirPods since near release date and they've worked and charged fine up until a couple weeks ago. The behavior is a little strange so I'll try to explain it.

So I'll use my AirPods for a couple hours until I'm done using them. Then, I'll put them in the charging case, which is typically fully charged, and proceed along with my day. Then, the next day I go to use them, the left AirPod is 100% charged, and the right one is always 10% charged, regardless of how much I actually used them the previous day. However, once I've open the case, it appears to initate charging and the right AirPod charges quickly to 100% within 20 minutes. Am I doing something wrong? Nothing is dirty or not connected properly and it's been working fine for a couple months now. It may have been the recent firmware update? I have no clue.

I had this issue happen to me this evening.

The right AirPod has been acting weird and today the left AirPod had a 100% charge while the right had 10%. I wiped of the bottle of the AirPod and placed it back into the case and it quickly charged?

However, now when I place the AirPods in the case the left one only shows a charging symbol.

That's weird! I wonder what's happening to our AirPods. I have a suspicion it is the first firmware update as I don't recall this being an issue before that.

I decided to take a q tip and clean the inside of the case and the bottom of the AirPods.

I noticed that the right AirPod obviously wasn't charging as the left was...took the right AirPod out and tried again..worked fine...maybe the right wasn't lined up perfectly. I've been messing with them since.

My left versus the right is the one I usually use and it's behaving the same as described above.

did your right AirPods get fixed? mine happens to have the same problem. my right AirPods doesn't go down to 10% though, but it drains while my left AirPod is at 100%

Odd-

I have the same issues except my left AirPod is consistently drained or not charging.
