I've had my AirPods since near release date and they've worked and charged fine up until a couple weeks ago. The behavior is a little strange so I'll try to explain it.
So I'll use my AirPods for a couple hours until I'm done using them. Then, I'll put them in the charging case, which is typically fully charged, and proceed along with my day. Then, the next day I go to use them, the left AirPod is 100% charged, and the right one is always 10% charged, regardless of how much I actually used them the previous day. However, once I've open the case, it appears to initate charging and the right AirPod charges quickly to 100% within 20 minutes. Am I doing something wrong? Nothing is dirty or not connected properly and it's been working fine for a couple months now. It may have been the recent firmware update? I have no clue.
