Does anyone know of a Thunderbolt cable (not USB-C) that has a right able connector on at least one end? I've got my MBP into a tight spot docked on my desk, and I'm getting concerned about the repeated stress on the port/connector over time. This cable handles my power and eGPU connections.

after searching for months, i finally stumbled on the attached. I purchased it and it works exactly as expected. Unfortunately, if i try to 'buy it again' i get a page not found on amazon. Hopefully the image/specs will help you with your hunt. I use the cable with my envoy express and with the right angle i can close my computer, pop it in my bag and not have to worry about bending the connector or needing to eject the drive before packing up.

My setup which sounds similar to yours, I recently completed my perfect configuration so i'll share what it entails below:

To ease the configuration of using multi-port hubs, egpu & power all with one single cable i bought this: https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/owc-thunderbolt-hub. It allows you to plug in all the devices that normally would need to be plugged directly into your mac into the a small thunderbolt hub. It's a game changer.

Additionally, thunderbolt 4 cables are backwards compatible with thunderbolt 3 devices & can be up to 6 feet in length... this helps with configuring a setup in a small space as you have way more cable to work with & no loss of compatibility to devices.

My current configuration is the owc thunderbolt hub, connected to my macbook pro with a 6 foot thunderbolt 4 cable and then my eGPU, multi port hub (for usb-a, ethernet, audio, etc), & external hard drive are plugged into the owc hub. They are all comfortably tucked away out of sight and all i do is plug in a single cable and everything comes to life. i have finally reached desktop nirvana with my macbook pro.

good luck

I'll take a look and report back if I can locate that cable and post here. I've got a Sonnet 650 eGPU with an AMD 5600 XT, and a Sonnet Echo 15+ Thunderbolt dock with two internal sata SSDs for Adobe Premiere scratch/cache and additional video editing work drive files that I use for current projects. The echo dock is great because it has eSATA ports on it that I use to connect to a mirrored RAID drive for one level of backup of projects. Then I have another local Drobo for longer term backup and storage. I get ethernet from the Echo dock as well.
