I just picked up a couple of right angle adapters for my MBP so that the TB3 cable doesn't stick out so much when I'm using my computer on my lap. It's hard to sit cross legged with a spike sticking directly out of the side of your laptop. This right angle adapter fixes that issue.

It works great! It fits more snugly than the actual Apple TB3 plug so it's less likely to accidentally disconnect and it's handled output to my LG 5K with charging just fine when I'm using it "docked".
