Hey, i have a week old MBP and many times it just won't right click. It worked flawlessly initially. When i click with 2 fingers it'll just left click. Happens quite frequently. What could the problem be? Or is this normal?

I searched around a bit but couldn't find anything on this specific problem.

Have you taken a look at System Preferences > Trackpad? Have you got any third-party gesture software installed, like BetterTouchTool or MagicPrefs?

Nope, no 3rd party software. Yeah, it's enabled in the preferences. Most of the times the 2-finger right click will work as default work but sometimes it just doesn't for a while.

I've found that the trackpad is very sensitive, so you have to put the two fingers at the exact same time to get the right click.

the sensitivity might be the issue but sometimes it just doesn't happen. anyway, i've just set it to single bottom right instead, much less annoying. 🙂
