Right Click Menu All Tags Grey

Hi All,

Will someone please tell me what's going on with my Mavericks OS. I want to add tags to some files, but when I right click on the file the tag options are all greyed out. I must hover my cursor over the tag and read it's colour vs it being in colour already.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those are where your favorites would be.

You'd set that up in the Finder preferences in the Tags section at the very bottom. Do a Command-Comma (,) to bring that up, or it's in the menubar.
