Right-click menu in Leopard

I've noticed that in Leopard when I right-click to open a .m4v file in Quicktime, I'm given the option to choose which version I want to open it in. It shows all the different versions of Quicktime that I have backed up with Time Machine. When I right-click there is a little slow down until the menu is useable because I can tell it's searching for all of the versions of Quicktime it can find.

I'm wondering if there is an option that I can tell it not to search for other versions?

Try rebuild the launchservice database, this can be done in OnyX.

Yep, that worked great for me. Now it runs smoothly and only one showing.
