How do i right click, other than ctrl-click
Depends on the computer.
All desktop Macs have two button mice.
Two-finger click on laptops.
On your MacBook, you can enable two-finger right-clicking. Depending on how you have it configured, this will allow you to either simply tap two fingers on the trackpad simultaneously, or hold two fingers on the pad while you click the button. Go play with your trackpad settings in System Preferences.
System Preferences>Keyboard & Mouse: (System Preferences are always available, 4th menu item in the menu.
