When I right click on iMac, nothing happens unless I have hold down control key at same time when pressing right mouse button.

But isn't it possible to tell the iMac to just do the same thing without holding control key?

System preferences, mouse.

I went there, what do I do there?

How I tell it to work with ONE RIGHT CLICK of the Mouse?

I am using an IMac 2008 with normal apple mouse and Snow Leopard.

What do you mean "normal apple mouse" ?
The 1 button mouse?

Just go toSystem Preferences > Mouse > Check the secondary click box.
It should say click on right side under the box.
