Starting today they will no longer be known as RIM....just Blackberry (changing the ticker symbols with NASDAQ and everything). Hopefully this OS ends up being worth the wait and the software ends up as slick as some of the pre-released demos. We all would benefit from a viable 3rd option to Android and iOS.

Looks like BB is playing lots of catch up, but nothing sets them apart from the rest. Plus the $199 price of the touch screen model is ridiculous because iPhone is same price.

They don't stand out without an eco system. Plus the next Gen Android phones are around the corner and will leap frog RIM once again with 1080p, quad core, etc

Early reviews from sites like the Verge and Engadget are very "meh".

The whole presentation was very "meh".

I can see why their CEO emphasized that they were aiming for the #3 spot...
