From the Ring site -

"Video Descriptions is starting to roll out in beta today to Ring Home Premium subscribers in the U.S. and Canada (English only). The feature can be enabled through the Ring app, and works with all currently available Ring doorbells and cameras, so both new and existing Ring neighbors will be able to enjoy the power of Video Descriptions."

Genius of them to not tell us HOW to enable it.

Nice, I have this already on my much cheaper Wyze cams and service. It is actually pretty helpful, but I love it when calls any animal that walks by a pet, including raccoons, possums, and deer.

Curious if it will give gender, height, and race descriptions of approaches or snooping for the door. Like 5' 2'' white woman delivered package and then lingered looking in windows for 3 more minutes. Then provides some key photos.

Anyway the next step would be based on the AI descriptions having set responses or a suggestion for response pop up. The futures going to be crazy.

Just got rid of my Ring doorbell. Upgraded to a Reolink attached to my existing NVR. Same/better functionality without a monthly fee.

Also, now random police authorities can’t access my cam without my permission.

Living Room
Your significant other is cheating on you at the couch right now. 🤣
Been scrolling through the comments just to find something like this 😂
“your neighbour is helping your wife to find something between her legs, it seems to be difficult as he’s been looking regularly this month”😅
