Ring Sound Soft

I have a new iphone5s. Am I unique or does everyone else find that all the rings for alerts and calendars etc work fairly loud but the actual ringer tones to answer the phone are very soft when set at the loudest setting? Is this common?

I've found my ringer to be very soft after the iOS 7 update. I have a iPhone 5, btw. I've missed a few calls because of that, lol.
