Ring/ text tone skipping?

Anyone else experiencing this? The text tone will skip ( almost a double take at first) when I get a message. Very irritating!

I have a iPhone 4s running on 5.1.1

Is this a software issue? I has about 3 gb space left and I am using a stock iOS text tone

happens to me too. try restarting your phone. other than that, that's just how it is.

This is a know IOS 5 bug, I have the same issue.
