New watch owner. Been walking all day (didn't have watch for morning workout) but I'm not seeing any movement calorie burn. I've reset both phone and watch.

Am I doing something wrong?

I have the same problem. It isn't recording any activities, not even standing up. I have tried all of the fixes I found online with no success.

Same problem here too. Walked about 10 minutes and no steps recorded. Ceramic version. This is annoying...

Last year my watch didn't track daily movement as activity until I worked out one time and turned on the workout app. From that point forward, even brisk walking during the day would begin showing up as a minute or two of workout time throughout the day

Had the same problem with my AW Series 2 today (upgrading from AW Sport, which I've had for a year and love). Hard reset didn't fix it. After a lot of playing around it seems like the heart rate sensor isn't working properly. The green lights come on but it doesn't pick up my heart-rate - it stays stuck at 69bpm even during workouts. Tried both soft and hard resets. Will return to Apple.

Really bummed because I lost my 166-day move streak because of this :/
