Ringtone and my library

Hang on, I may have been slow off the mark here but........am I right in saying that ringtones may only be bought from iTunes America????

If so that's shambolic.

having the same issue here, maybe try burning your protected tracks on a CD then re-importing them and using the garageband method.

Assuming that still removes the protection.

I know it's needlessly complicated but its cheaper than buying them direct from Apple, and it should work.
