R razzyer macrumors newbie Original poster Dec 1, 2009 #1 Hello. I have an iphone wich i wanted to add ringtones to. i have creater a 40second .m4r file but when i want to drop it into the ringtone folder of my iphone in in itunes it wont let me do it, why is this ? 🙁

Darth.Titan macrumors 68030 Dec 3, 2009 #3 Don't try to drop it into the ringtone folder, just double-click the file to open it in iTunes and it should be added to your ringtones automatically. If it doesn't, make sure the specs of the sound file are correct.

R radioBirdman macrumors newbie Dec 3, 2009 #4 i *think* they have a filesize limitation too. for reference, all of these ones do work. they are all approx 25 seconds and they are all <1MB
