Is it possible to put ripped DVDs in iTunes in the Cloud? I got a movie the other day and installed the digital version. The next time I was on my Apple TV I noticed that it would let me watch that movie on my Apple TV or download it to my iPad without syncing it.

I have a ton of movies and it would be so convenient if I could put them all in iTunes and watch them through my Apple TV instead of having to worry about pulling out the DVD. Or having to sync my iPad to get a movie on it.

Is this possible to do? If so how?

The digital version is classed as a purchase, hence it's available in iTunes in the Cloud. Alas for all other DVD versions you'll just have to rip your own, then play on Apple TV and iPad via Home Sharing.

If the movie is in iTunes you can play it on your ATV. Just got to Computers, and then XXXX's iTunes Library
