Ripping DVDs in OSX

I have a video DVD that I want to import and convert to other formats (.AVI, .mpeg, etc.). Current format is .VOB

What is the best way to do this in OSX 10.5 ?

MRoogle will help you find one of those many threads covering that particular problem.

My tip: MacTheRipper + Handbrake.

I've switched from MacThe Ripper to RipIt. Both are great, just giving another option.
