Ripping DVD's through Fusion

Hey all, im trying to back up my dvd collection but using mac the ripper is agonizingly slow in comparison to its windows counterparts. I downloaded dvd shrink and im getting copyright errors. At first i thought that the only problem was that I didnt have a dvd decoder so i bought one but im still getting the same copyright error and it suggested that i try downloading an updated graphics card driver. Any help on this? I'm using xp pro.
