Hi,

Im working on a school project for my Mgmt class, and I need to use a cbsnews.com clip into my imovie project, and I cant find a program or application that allows me to rip the movie. the problem is that instead of ripping the video clip, what it detects is the 30 second Chase bank advertisement that comes before it
What I've been using at the moment is DownloadHelper, but as I said it only allows me to rip the commercials before the clip and not the clip itself, does anybody know of a program (prefferably freeware) or way to bypass that?

You could use Screenium. It will record the video and the audio (select system audio to make sure you record it) and you can convert the screencap to whatever format iMovie needs.

id need something that was free, this is likely a one off use, I dont plan to rip vid's left and right, I just need it for thie one site b/c of its stupid a** commercials
