I want to rip some live concerts (Muse's H.A.A.R.P.) and would like to choose only some performances. Is there any way that I can choose which parts I want to rip? Or if I have to rip the whole thing is there a way to edit it so that there will only be the parts that I want (freeware if possible)?

Handbrake allows you to select the title and chapters you want to rip.

I rip mine song by song so I can play the one I want. Usually the first Chapter is the intro, so rip the 2nd chapter and check it out. If it is the right song, change the title accordingly and put it in a file. Then go rip chapter 3 etc. You have to change title every song because the title will be the disc title. Play your rip every so often to make sure you're still on track with the song you think you're ripping.
