rMB didn't get the new PCIe x4 SSD?

In the ARS review, which benchmarked the CPU, GPU as well as SSD, it shows the rMB didn't get the new fancy (or per Apple, double-speed) PCIe x4 SSDs as in the 2015 rMBP and 13" MBA.
This means it has the same old SSD in all those 2013/2014 models that only uses 2 PCIe lanes.

It is yet to be confirmed and I know in practice there is probably no big difference but I was so desparately looking forward to the SM951 SSDs that give the astonishing 1.5GB/s for both R/W...
Shame on this if that's true...

Seems like it's true, engadget's review spoke of 738 mb/s speeds.

But that shouldn't be too big of a deal. Remember, 738 mb/s is FAST, and this isn't a pro laptop.

Yeah it's by no means slow, but just not as fast as I expected, especially given that the cheaper MBA got twice faster..

This is the kind of difference that is meaningless to 98% of users. It is not something that you would notice in typical everyday use.
