What's the battery like on this machine under general use like web browsing and YouTube?

Thanks.

You should get at least 8 hours. I get like 8 on my m7. 2-3 hours of browsing a day. Usually charge every 3 days.

I usually get about 6-7 hours.

This involves web browsing, YouTube (both on Safari), Bluetooth and wi-fi both on, brightness at around 70% because of sunlight, generally not letting the MacBook sleep because I need to read a lot.

I have the 2016 M5 model and I get about 10 hours (literally losing 10% per hour). When at a client location I get to work for 9 hours and never connect to the power. I have Safari, Outlook, multiple Excel, WhatsApp, Skype, iMessage and multiple Citrix connections open.

I vary a lot in what I do on my m3 so the battery life varies from 7-11 hours lol.

If you go to the Battery tab in Activity Monitor it will give you an idea of what your usage is producing.

Very happy with the battery life on these. Much, much better than the 13" t/MBP I had before this.
