RAM will be the better option for 99% of users.

You will see minor differences in benchmarking applications and CPU intensive tasks will be slightly faster, but in a practical sense, you won't see notice this. If you really have CPU intensive tasks, then the quad core 15" or 27" iMac is a much better choice.

The only other difference I can see is the Graphic frequency or something, the 2.6Ghz is slightly faster than the 2.4Ghz and its on par with the i7

This will be my first 13" as last year I went for the 15" and while I loved the screen estate I was kidding myself and it was way too big and too powerful for my needs. So I'm looking at 13" just wondering what will affect resell value more?!? Probably RAM I assume

Honestly the best resale value is almost always the base models, people rarely pay the value of upgrades.

If your worried about resale value I would get the mid tier base unit with no upgrades, 2.4 8GB and 256GB HD

Yeah that's true I suppose but glad I went with 16GB as I will never know when I need it and I may not resell next year so better to be safe than sorry

Oh yeah lol, choose the laptop you need and worry about reselling it later lol

I'm probably going for the 16gb option but I still wish to know the difference between i5 and i7 for gaming. I know that for gaming I should go for the 15" but I prefer the 13" form factor, The 15" just feels to big for me.

Any answer is appreciated.

All I see different in the graphics is some graphic frequency or something and the 2.6 i5 is the same as the i7... Don't know if that is important when gaming??
