Hi! I've just got my new rMBP 15'' base model (i7 2.0, 8 GB RAM) and I'm wondering about the battery use.

I've read this recent article in Gizmodo, but I don't know if it's correct.

I've been using Mac laptops for some years and I always do the 0% - 100% / 100% - 0% cycle. I plug it only when it asks to. Am I doing the right thing?

Thanks in advance for your answers and advice.

Most people say when asleep plug it in if possible and use it how you want it.

With the new batteries you can pretty much do whatever you want. There's no need to drain it completely and you can charge it back up at anytime. No need to let it fully charge either it won't make a difference. The big thing is to not leave it plugged in for long periods of time (like weeks). If it's going to be plugged in for a long time then unplug it and run it on battery at least once a week or the battery will deteriorate since it's not being used at all.
