Im going to buy a 15" rmbp tomorrow, the base model and im still undecided between buying the 256 ssd and upgrading it later or should i just buy the 512ssd now? Money is kind of an issue, i can afford it but im going be living for as a hermit for the next couple of weeks lol, any advice?

It's almost impossible to upgrade it after purchase. Unless you're not worried about potentially breaking other parts while upgrading it.

The RMBPs aren't designed to be upgradeable.

unless you can figure a true reason you want that much space, I dont see a reason to go with the spec bump

I recommend getting what you can afford now. There are alternative storage solutions out there: cloud, externals, etc. you'll love this new device, it is absolutely amazing!

Ask what you need the extra hardware for. If it's just a matter of space? Get the 256 and buy an external.
