Can some of you guys that already has it do some real game test?
I'm specially interested in wow.
Thank you!:)

If someone could test Football Manager 2015 running the match engine to see if the fans kick in hard like they currently do on the mid 2014 model.

WoW is old as heck and will run on just about anything. It's not a demanding game at all.

Even better, could a new owner post up a shot of the about this Mac screen ref the graphics?
I'm trying to create a profile in game agent to see what games it run, but have no idea what to put down for VRAM.

Thank you!

Fans kicking in are normal. You demand power, power generates heat, said heat needs to be extracted by the fans. Any laptop's fan(s) (not just Macs) would speed up in the same situation, that's how computers work.

The fans seem to kick in harder in some laptops run they do others. I really hope J. Ive and Co figure out a way to more effectively keep MBPs running at optimal temperature without the chassis heating up so much and running so loudly under load.

Hi there

I'm also an FM player, but on a 2010 MBP 13. Just wondering what sort of start ratings you've got for Game speed, graphics etc on your 2014 rMBP, I'm planning on upgrading to the new model, so want to know what to expect

I force fans on max speed when I game. Cities skyline at 1280x800 low everything except medium textured. Fps is in the 20s. Definitely playable and impressive considering its integrated. Game doesn't look too bad minus the res. I wonder if the i7 would make any difference.
