Hi guys,

I am considering purchasing a new MacBook Pro 2015 Retina (13 inch). Are these still affected by Staingate? In October 2015, Apple launched a screen replacement program from the affected machines and I hope that that the issue has permanently been solved.

Do you know it? How are your 2015 machines holding up?

There have been few if any reports of it,p for the 2015 however who knows if it's been permanently fixed, as with any process there could be a rogue batch.

Any computer can fail at any time for any number of reasons every time you buy a computer you are taking a risk, that's life I'm afraid.
