He's running VMs, of course it's eating memory. 8GB is more than enough unless you're doing virtualization. It's only got 6GB wired anyway.

Regards Raptor Click to expand... Chrome keeps visited pages in cached memory, it'll do that with a lot of tabs and time open. Really not a big deal.

R red321red321 macrumors regular Original poster Sep 4, 2013 #8 I've got 16 GB RAM and assigned 4 GB to the virtual machine I think. And yes Chrome doesnt seem very efficient. The high temps are just sort of annoying I suppose.
