The calendar month "flipping" animation lags a lot on my 2.3/16/256 since upgrading to ML... Anyone else experience this/fix this? edit: this lag was not apparent/MINIMAL in lion.

We had great success fixing the "spaces switch" lag on another thread, lets try to do something similar with this problem..

There shouldn't be any animation in Mountain Lion's Calendar.app using the buttons (Previous, Today, Next). It'll still happen when using the keyboard shortcuts though. It's one of the updates the calendar got in it's upgrade to ML.

In regular Lion, you could hold the alt/option key while clicking the buttons and it would skip the animation.

I swear everyday there is something new to complain about in regard to the rMBP and lagging.

we are early adopters ;) our job is to complain until you get to 10.8.9 where late adopters can revel in how good mountain lion was and how they should have upgraded a long time ago (not knowing how much testing was done by us early adopters ;P)
